I missed a FEW sessions...so here is a lil bit.

Just a few of the sessions I have just finished...

Crystal + Richie....I met Crystal this past Christmas at Picture with Santa...she has two precious lil babies, and they came for bunny pics too and her lil girl just LOVED those bunnies. These two are getting married in July- I will not be their wedding photographer but I was so honored to be able to capture these beautiful portraits and need i say it...but moments for their engagement pictures.

And lil miss Natalie Kate...you may better remember her feet from her newborn pictures -- with the rings on her toes.
She was not really excited to be out on the beach in the sun, hot and the sand.....but we got a few great shots....look for miss Natalie in J. Langley Photos Cute Kid Contest in August.

Busy Bee....

Hey guys. I have been a super busy lady lately.

Natchitoches was absolutely beautiful and a fun place for a wedding photographer. The people were amazing just down home towns people. I loved it. Hubby and I got to go see all the Steel Magnolia sites. which was really neat...being my all time Favorite movie and all.

My week I did a lot with the kids, and had a few shoots but thats it just been busy.

I am trying to turn over a new leaf...I think I will officially set hours of operation, because I have things I want to do with the kids in the evenings and can't be out on a shoot every evening LOL...however I will alocate 2-3 days when I will be able to make some exceptions. And I want to be MORE organized...Kim if your reading you so......know its true LOL...

Have lots of things going on right now......

I am gonna post individual blogs for each but...I have the Cute Kid Contest Entry shoots going on now thru Aug 15th...voting will take place the last weekend of August here on my Blog.

I am looking for High School Seniors from all the area High Schools...I will be selecting one from each school to be a senior rep for J. Langley Photos...FREE pictures guys and LOTS of other fun stuff.....and of course LOTS of FUN!

Also I am working on Finishing up my Calendar - A friend of mine who is helping me out tons with it.....and I are gonna try to get this rolling so that Calendars will be ready for November and will make GREAT CHRISTMAS gifts....on that note I am looking for babies again....not newborns but more in the 6month - 12month ages.....please contact me if you are interested.

And I am getting together a Mailing List - To mail out super cute custom designed postcards with specials, and other fun things for you guys.

So goal tonight....is...to try to BLOG just a bit on some of the sessions I missed maybe all in one...and Blog the specials in better detail.....

No I am shooting a wedding in Nachitoches and I am so excited and cannot wait to be in a new environment!!! YES J. Langley Photos will travel.....

Just me....

Hey guys, just wanted to write about whats going on in my world lately.

Its always so nice to blog about life versus just my photography. I mean i love my photography it is ME but there are so many other pieces of my puzzle.

Summer has began so nice. The kids fight a bit but other than that i have tried to be as patient and fun as possible.

For the next month after my Nachitoches wedding I am gonna be a lot slower. which is nice. I feel like I can stop and enjoy my lil friends. We have done a lot of fun things lately together and this evening me and mae mae have a serious game of kick ball scheduled.

This weekend we will all laze around in the lazy river at the casino i am really excited about that. just to be outside in a nice cool pool is so exciting.

I was talking to a friend the other night...and ya'll I have just been in a rut...its not my kids, not my job as mom, wife and photographer its just ME. I think everything that has been going on with my parents is just weighing on me more than i want it to.

And maybe I am just selfish but i need away from my house time alone you know what i mean. I love love love my babies and my hubby but sometimes i just want to get out and get sideways all by myself, or go grab a coffee and drive around, or walk around the mall Alone - is that WIERD??? And sometimes I would like to do those things with my husband but what the heck happened to babysitting does No one babysit anymore lol....i have the hardest time finding a sitter....ok i am starting to vent and now the one year old and two year old are having a serious head butting fight.....

I just wanted to have a lil time blogging and clear my thoughts which is hard to do with kids piled on top of me....but at least i wrote something!

What I have been working on for the week...I actually have all of next week OFF and I am pumped in hopes I can catch up on all my editing and ENJOY my weekend at LauBerge in the lazy river with my lil family......then the weekend after I have my big Nachitoches wedding and I cannot wait for it--- in the bed and breakfast it will just be BEAUTIFUL!!! I hope to do many more weddings in that area......

Ben+Mary...have a beautiful love story of how they met and how compatible they are I think it is very neat.....These are their engagment pictures they will be getting married in September.

Chase+Candice are such an Awesome Couple..this is their lil guy Dayton...He was fun and ALL BOY!!! But we did grab a few super cute shots of this lil man on the run....

Ok...WOW am I so behind!!!

Hey guys.

Sorry for the lack of Blogging. I have been crazy busy with Baseball season coming to an end and Teams needing their pictures in a hurry. So that consumed a lot of my time. It was so fun! And have some really great shots.

I shot the Chapman Wedding the weekend of the 23rd it was super. Love Marilyns it was my first wedding there and OMG it was great..everything ran as smoothly as possible and it was great.

I had several engagement shoots in between the last post and now...because from here til November it is my PRIMETIME wedding season and I love it.

I always forget how much I LOVE weddings...it is such an amazing HONOR to share such a breathtaking moment with you guys.

I have Vanessa and Aaron's wedding this weekend and I know it will be so beautiful and can't wait to share with you all.

And then on the 20th we go to Nachitoches for Thad and Lindsey's wedding and I am so excited its at an Awesome Bed and Breakfast...it will be AMAZING.

So be on watch for pictures....

Otherwise I am trying to take it semi easy for summer time having all four kids at home and trying to work is so hard. We are taking a mini vacation to Lauberge on the 13th and 14th and i cannot wait for that and in August we are taking a week off to go to the Beach Club in Gulf Shores.

I got a few shots of the babies at the park the other day because poor things they have NO pictures...I am gonna try much harder to photograph MY kids.

Cute Kids contest has been post poned til August just because a lot of people are off on vacations right now so I will have further details later on.

Sneak Peaks- cause I am a tid bit behind!

Ok guys real quick Blog cause I know I am seriously behind schedule. So these real quick are just somethings I am working on right now but...I still need to Blog about a few family shoots I did..promise guys I will get on top of those.

These are Misti & Jessica's kiddos [the cousins] I have been photographing these families for sometime now. They all Dance and so these are dance recital pics, they chose the location and we had a BLAST!

This Austin Johnson - I have been photographing this kiddo since I started my business also.
I photographed Mary Jo and Greg earlier this year. This is Greg's family for MOM for Mother;s day. We had a great time and these guys were really glad to be in a very relaxed and casual setting- and even got an opportunity to grab a beer and kick back on the dock for a few shots.

Little Miss Gracie!! This girl is AMAZING in front of the camera! I cannot wait to post all of her pictures and Also cannot wait to WORK WITH HER again. Lil. Malachi. I have been photographing him and family for a couple of years now. And Grandma needed pictures for Mother's day- So we got to hang out again this year. The funny thing is this fella loves to pretend to be shy in front of my camera!


The Chapman Wedding...The venue was Marilyn's and I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a venue or even a coordinator for your event! They did an absolute Amazing job - usually I kinda have to take control and run the show- this wedding Beth[the Coordinator] took the reins and it was smooth sailing with the occasional missing bridal party...lol...

This Kid table was just absolutely adorable...and I really thought that the kids were gonna tear it to shreds but amazingly enough it looked almost the same with a few missing lolipops when the reception ended. my husband who assisted me were in AW.....

Mr. & Mrs. Chapman- this is all you get for now. It was a beautiful ceremony and beautiful pictures! I enjoyed it guys - thanks for including me in YOUR day!

And that is all for now.... gotta get to work as you can see lots and lots to do and the kids will be home for 2 1/2 months as of noon on wed. so i really need to buckle down and get it done!

Mother's Day Special

Amanda- sister- and Mom

We had lots of fun. This picture below is Amanda's sister- she is very photogenic. This right here is miss Amanda- we made her laugh a lot- she has little bitty eyes. And I am one of those crazy photographers that when I am shooting a portrait I want one of my focus lights drilled in on the eye. I LOVE EYES!!! anyways everytime I would take her pic I would say ' ok AMANDA OPEN YOUR eyes... and then we would all crack up and needless to say all of her pics she is really just laughing and having a great time.....

When I told mom we had to take her Portrait alone she was so funny - going what do I do...so on the side lines with me were both of her daughters giving her pointers on how to make her sexy face, serious face, and casual look....we got this shot and it is PERFECT.

Lakeb & Keith's Wedding

I Love this ring shot above, it is PERFECTO!!!

I had so much fun at this wedding. I had met with both Keith and Laken earlier in the year to book their day however they had a friend already taking their engagment pictures so thats why you are just seeing this couple on my sites. Laken and I did her Bridals about a month prior to the wedding where we had lots of fun

The Girls- this was one of the only weddings I had a complete hour to shoot the girls- they were all dressed and are bride too and on top of that the groom and groomsmen hit the road to McDonalds so we had the church to ourselves! We had fun!!!

The ceremony was beautiful. The song selections were Perfect and even not knowing this couple as well as I usually know a couple on their wedding day from all the other shoots - I still had tears!! Beautiful ceremony.

I told Keith HOLD the kiss- don't just peck and go lol...that happened at my last wedding and I caught a close up of a kiss but not a full length it was strange - but anyways I told Laken and Keith to kiss each other and kinda hold a sec so I can be sure to grab those good in the moment shots well needless to say they held their kiss but it looked uncomfy!!!

This was my first pentecostal wedding so not too much from the reception! I took some cake shots and family shots and then that was pretty much it -

Laken did an amazing job with the colors I absolutely loved the choc. and turqoise.
